When life feels chaotic - when your work, relationships, finances, health, or sense of direction feel unstable - it is easy to become fragmented. We divide ourselves into the parts we like and the parts we reject: the successful parts versus the frightened parts; the confident parts versus the ashamed parts.

But true Yoga accepts the whole human being. Nothing excluded.

The parts we call beautiful and ugly, strong and weak, spiritual and flawed, are all contained within wholeness.

Now Yoga is not about pretending to be enlightened or achieving perfection. It is about becoming deeply honest about who you are in this moment and learning to live with greater awareness, responsibility, balance, presence, and harmony with reality.

My name is Johnathon Martin. For more than 30 years, I’ve explored yoga, spirituality, self-awareness, mindfulness, and personal development. But my life has not been lived in a cave.

I’ve raised children, worked in a high-pressure sales career, travelled, written books, and attempted businesses - succeeding sometimes, and drawing a visible blank more times than not.

Recently, after dislocating my shoulder and continuing to face several long-standing difficulties in my own life, I realised something had to change. It brought me back to a phrase I have long resonated with: “not-not yoga.”

What does “not-not yoga” mean? It means it doesn’t have to be perfect, textbook stuff. This doesn’t mean I wasn't sincere - I absolutely was, and still am, a deeply committed practitioner. But I realise I am not a 100% perfect yogi. I have my things. My practice isn't always flawless, and I still do things that are decidedly unyogi.

To me, "not-not yoga" means that a practice doesn’t need to be pristine to serve its true purpose: leading you back to who you genuinely are. It is about stripping away the illusions, the noise, and the social conditioning to uncover the truth of who you are, above and below it all.

When looked at this way, life itself becomes Yoga, when lived with awareness.

Work can become Yoga. Parenting can become Yoga. Failure, conversations, grief, business, healing, responsibility, stillness, and uncertainty can all become Yoga when fused with mindfulness, presence and a sense of Union.

So now, I begin again. Again and again. Not as a flawless guru pretending to have mastered life, but as a man sincerely committed to rebuilding life, moment to moment, on stronger, more authentic and thought-out foundations.

I’m not interested in standing above people. I’m interested in walking with them. Not following. Not leading. Walking together.

This is a deeply supportive, 1-to-1 private coaching experience designed to help you reconnect with yourself, clear mental fog, restore inner stability, and begin consciously redesigning your life.

Do I need to be flexible or have prior yoga experience?

Absolutely not. This is not a gymnastics class, and we aren't trying to get your feet behind your head. The physical postures we explore are basic, gentle, and beginner-friendly. If you have an injury - just like I am - we will adapt everything completely to what your body can safely do today. The goal is physical alignment and grounding, not performance.

Is this a spiritual/religious programme? Will I have to change my beliefs?

No. Yoga is a philosophy and a technology for living, not a religion. While we read and discuss ancient texts like the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras, we treat them as practical, psychological guidebooks for modern life. You do not need to adopt any specific spiritual beliefs. You only need an open mind and a willingness to look at your life honestly.

What actually happens during the weekly Zoom sessions?

Each 1-hour session is a private, 1-to-1 conversation. It is a mix of mentoring, sharing, and practical learning. We will break down specific concepts from the 8 Limbs of Yoga, look at how they apply directly to your current life challenges (like burnout, career stress, or feeling unanchored), and map out gentle, achievable adjustments for your week ahead.

How much time will I need to dedicate to this every day?

As much or as little as your current energy allows. The daily WhatsApp prompts and resources are designed to take just 5 to 10 minutes of your time to read and reflect upon. They are meant to act as a quiet anchor throughout your busy day, not as another stressful task on your to-do list. You pace yourself.

What makes this different from standard life coaching or standard yoga classes?

Standard yoga classes focus almost entirely on physical fitness. Standard life coaching often focuses heavily on aggressive goal-setting, metrics, and "hustle."

Now Yoga sits right in the middle. It takes the deep, time-proven, stabilizing psychology of Yoga and applies it to your everyday practical reality - your work, your relationships, your failures, and your healing.
